Baking Cookies

I was in the kitchen making dinner and Lydia wanted to help. I handed her a baking sheet and she made cookies (play-doh cookies). She loves to help in the kitchen.

Holding Hands

Lydia was upset and wanted me to hold her hand. I was driving and wasn't able to. So, Nathaniel, said "Here Lydia, I will hold your hand". It was the sweetest thing. Of course, at the stop light I had to get a picture (this is a rare occasion these days) :)

Dallas World Aquarium

After the Meek Reunion, Nathaniel spent a week with Jody in Dallas. One exciting day trip that they had was to the Dallas World Aquarium. There were so many cool pictures of Nathaniel and all the sea creatures ... I had to chose only these four. I believe his favorite animal is a stingray. He has liked stingrays for a long time now ... and getting a picture next to one, is awesome!

Meek Family Reunion 09

At the end of June, we went to the Meek Family Reunion. This was the 31st year for the John Walker Meek reunion. We were able to see many of our family members and it was so good to catch up about the past year. Here's Aunt Nona with one of her cousins. Uncle John and Great Uncle Jerry with Nathaniel and Lydia.

National Weather Center in Norman OK

Bro. Dale from our church works at The Weather Center and was so kind to give Jody, Nathaniel and Lydia a tour of the center at the end of June. The kids loved it! Nathaniel was so intrigued by all the cool weather things. He talks about clouds all the time now. We may have a budding meteorologist on our hands :)
